The first 2 week session of the Myrmidon Fall Wrestling Camp wrapped up this Thursday, and proved to be a success. Kids from all around the district as well as West Michigan gathered in West Ottawa high school's wrestling room, many of which had never experienced the sport in any capacity. The new wrestlers played games and learn the basic mechanics of a take down. This camp is set up for kids that have little to no experience in the sport, and will prepare them (if they wish) for the competitive season in November. The camp is FREE for all current Myrmidon wrestlers.
"Incredible how far my kids have come," says parent Betsy Cruz. "The confidence level of both my son and daughter has increased dramatically. When we started this sport I had no idea these coaches would help transform my sweet sensitive boy into a confidant hard worker. Sometimes it's more than just the sport."
Remember there are two sessions left available.
