This past weekend West Ottawa Wrestling and Myrmidon Training Systems partnered for the 2nd annual Myrmidon Attack Tournament at West Ottawa High School. While it was a fundraiser for both programs, a portion also went to Pinning Down Autism, a charitable organization whose mission is to respond and address the immediate needs of children and their families within our local communities that are affected by autism and to promote education and awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder’s. In life, we like to set goals to push ourselves to the next level. But how do you thrive in a world where everyone has high expectations for themselves? Well, one West Ottawa wrestler took the popular merit for improvement of the "1000 Rep Club" and made it his own. We sat down with senior wrestler and 4.0 student Wes Hook and talked about his philosophy on improvement, his goals for the season, and his commitment to drill 20,000 takedowns before November 14th  HOLLAND, MI
We are proud to continue the expansion of our youth wrestling team. In the past, our youth wrestlers have focused more on a limited camp style introductory practice setting.
